Design in glass and steel | Vector
2008, Stuttgart
The imposing, elegantly curved steel stairs with transparent glass steps combined with the exquisite stainless steel banisters give this design an incomparable exclusivity.
Transparent glass steps
These imposing steel stairs with transparent glass steps lead upwards over 3 storeys in the Vector commercial building in Stuttgart. With curved box-type stringers and an exclusive stainless steel banister, they make a successful statement. The full-surface screen-printed surface of the glass treads is slip-resistant and ensures a safe "step".
Construction for steel stairs with glass steps
- box stringers made of welded rectangular profile in H-shape
- steel treads welded between the stringers
- fixed to the unfinished floor with steel floor plates
